Broker Agreement

Dear Producer:

     In order to complete our files and confirm that you understand the relationship between your agency and Intercorp, Inc., please read and complete the following agreement.

The following documentation is required in order to do business with us:
  • Copy of your E&O declarations page (minimum limit $1,000,000).
  • Copy of your current agent’s or broker’s license.
  • Signed copy of this agreement


I also acknowledge the following:

  • I have no binding authority for new risks, renewals, increased limits or additional coverage. 
  • I agree to report all claims promptly to Intercorp, Inc.
  • I understand that I am not an employee, agent or representative of Intercorp or any Insurance company utilized by Intercorp.
  • I agree to pay all special fees or service charges on insurance written, and I understand that no commission will be paid on these items. I further understand that any service charge or policy fee will be fully earned at inception.
  • I will not insert into any advertisement any reference to Intercorp or any insurer utilized by Intercorp, without the expressed written consent of Intercorp.
  • I understand that no policy may be returned to Intercorp for flat cancellation. A minimum earned premium shall apply to all policies.
  • I agree to pay all premiums due in accordance with Intercorp’s payment requirements, including additional premiums resulting from audits or endorsements.

I warrant that our insurance license(s) for all geographic areas in which we place business and our Errors and Omissions Insurance policy will remain in force throughout the time that we place business through Intercorp, Inc.
